Polling Station ReviewResponding to residents in the Trent Valley Road area over where they have to vote, Gavin Webb has ensured these concerns have been submitted to a City Council review of the City's polling stations.Residents in this area currently have to vote at the Boothen Neighbourhood Centre, which is proving to be a disincentive for some to use their vote at election time. Before local government boundary changes in 2002, these residents were able to vote at Penkhull Village Hall, and there appears to be a desire for things to return to how they were. Once the outcome of the review is published, Gavin will inform residents in the area.  |
